| River Corridor
Survey
River Corridor Surveys (RCS) are an essential prerequisite
of the planning process in regard to major development
affecting rivers and streams. The survey involves detailed
mapping/recording of all physical features of a 100m
wide corridor centred on the watercourse.
River Habitat Survey
River Habitat Surveys (RHS), like RCS, is again an
essential prerequisite of the planning process in regard
to major development affecting rivers and streams. The
survey involves systematic recording of all physical
features, at set sample points along each watercourse.
