Extended Phase
One survey:
This is the standard baseline vegetation survey used
to identify the extent and broad type of habitats on
any given site. The survey can also be used to identify
the presence of protected plant species.
This survey is particularly relevant in regard to UK
BAP habitats/species and Section 74 (CROW Act) species/habitats.
National Vegetation Classification (NVC):
This is the standard classification of all habitats
across the UK. Its application is particularly useful
in relation to UK BAP habitats and Section 74 (CROW
Act) habitats.
